Our story

Nexo Activities started the way most good things do — with something missing. We moved to Valencia and fell for it straight away: the light, the food, the pace of it. What we couldn't find was an easy way to meet people. Not contacts, not a busy weekend — actual friends, and enough going on during the week to keep seeing them.

Almost everything on offer was built for people passing through. Nothing wrong with that — we do the touristy things too, and half of them are genuinely brilliant. But a boat trip you book once doesn't leave you with anyone to message on a Tuesday. The city was full of things to do and short on ways to belong.

So we stopped waiting for someone else to build it. Nexo is the club we were looking for: open to expats, students, digital nomads and locals alike, with a mix of nationalities around the table that changes every week. Nobody needs to arrive with someone.

In practice that means hosting the events we wished existed: an open-air workout that flows into a long brunch. A beer pong tournament where your teammate is a stranger for exactly one round. A pool party where nobody is a stranger by the end of the night.

We're a new club, growing week by week — small, honest, community-first. Every event is designed end-to-end so it actually feels alive, not another awkward meetup.
