An hour of padel to close the week. We book two courts at Boix Team Tennis every Friday at 17:00, split into groups when everyone's there, and play.
All levels are genuinely welcome, because the groups are put together on the spot: whoever's played for years ends up on one court, whoever picked up a racket last month on the other. Nobody spends the hour outclassed, and nobody spends it waiting.
Eight places, and that's the whole room — two courts, four players each. First come, first served.
What to expect
16:50 · Arrive
Ten minutes before we start. Time to say hello, pick up a rental racket if you need one, and be on court at 17:00 sharp.
17:00 · Groups
We split the eight of us across the two courts by level, so the games are even from the first point.
17:00 – 18:00 · Play
A full hour on court. We rotate partners between games so you don't play the same pairing all afternoon.
Level
All levels, genuinely — and it works because we sort it out in person rather than asking you to rate yourself on a booking form. Never held a padel racket? Say so when you arrive and you'll be on the court where that's normal.
What to bring
- Sportswear & trainers with a good grip
- A water bottle
- A racket if you own one — otherwise rent one there
No racket? You can rent one at Boix Team on the day, so there's nothing to buy before your first Friday.

Questions
I've never played padel. Can I come?
Yes, and you won't be the only one. The groups are made up once everyone has arrived, so beginners play with beginners and the more experienced play together. Nobody gets thrown in against people two levels above them.
I don't have a racket.
You can rent one at Boix Team Tennis on the spot, so you don't need to buy anything to try your first session. Bring trainers with a decent grip and you're set.
Why should I arrive at 16:50?
The courts are ours from 17:00 to 18:00 and not a minute longer. Ten minutes early is what lets us sort the groups and hand out rental rackets without eating into the hour you paid for.
How many people play?
Eight — two courts with four players each. That's the hard limit, so places go first come, first served.
Is the court included in the €8?
Yes. The €8 covers your place on court for the hour. Only a rental racket, if you need one, is paid separately at the club.
Do I have to come every Friday?
No — each Friday is booked on its own, and coming once is completely fine. Pick the dates that fit your week.
