Classic Monopoly, played in duos — two sessions, two different partners, and a hard stop before anyone gets bored.
You know how Monopoly usually goes: four hours in, two people have quit, someone's hiding money under the board, and nobody remembers whose turn it is. Not tonight. We play two separate sessions of an hour and a half, each one starting from scratch — new board, starting cash back on the table, nothing carried over from the first.
You play in duos, and we pair you up at random at check-in. At the break we shuffle everything: new partner, new table, new opponents. So you spend the evening plotting with one stranger and then against them, which turns out to be the fastest way to stop being strangers.
Each session runs on the clock rather than to bankruptcy, so you're playing right up to the final minute — the last half hour is as busy as the first. Drinks are on us all evening and there are crisps on the tables. Never played? We run through the rules at 18:15 and half the room will be learning with you.
