About this event
Swap the Sunday lie-in for a morning on the water. We're heading to Ocean Republik, the biggest water-sports school in Valencia, for a 1.5-hour beginner paddle surf class with their instructors — no experience needed. They start you off on dry land with the basics, then it's onto the board: finding your balance, standing up, and paddling around La Marina together.
Board, paddle and instructor are all included, so all you need to bring is yourself and something to swim in. And if the conditions on the day aren't ideal for paddle surf, we'll switch to other water games and sports available at the school instead.
Afterwards, anyone who feels like it comes with us for brunch or a drink nearby — the best way to actually get to know the people you just fell into the sea with. It's optional and not included in the ticket.
